What is Chia coin?

Chia Coin is a new cryptocurrency based on an open-source blockchain technology. Unlike ‘Proof-of-Work’ cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Chia mining is based on the amount of hard-disk storage space devoted to it rather than processing power.
